This Regional Mid-Tier Firm are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity in their Leeds office. The Accounts & Cloud Assistant Manager/ Manager role offers an excellent opportunity for an accountant with strong financial reporting, IT & presenting skills to progress their career into an exclusively Accounts, Advisory & Cloud Accounting focused role.
This role provides the opportunity to combine traditional accounting experience with modern accounting practices through the utilisation of cloud accounting software.
Managing a portfolio of Accounts clients, whilst introducing clients to the advantages and benefits of cloud accounting software. Training & development of Clients in setting up their new cloud-based accounting package.
Providing training and technical support to the team to enable staff development. Assisting staff in moving multiple clients onto cloud/new accounting systems.
To provide support to clients, who maintain their own records, using Xero and/or Quickbooks Online
Candidates from mixed accounts, outsourcing or audit roles will also be considered. Managing a varied client base from sole traders to corporate entities up to the audit threshold, across multiple industry sectors. Working with the management team to ensure work is managed in and out of the department effectively and efficiently.
Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks Online and Sage systems would be a distinct advantage
Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) is required
