Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a highly reputable and well-established firm of accountants in Peterborough who, due to continued success and growth, are looking to add an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their team where you will work on a diverse portfolio of clients.

The workload will be varied and will include the preparation of year end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships as well as the completion of the associated tax compliance work. You will also be responsible for undertaking and reviewing bookkeeping work for clients as well as completing VAT returns
 
The ideal candidate may be ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified and will have strong experience of dealing with a broad range of clients within a practice setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing Limited Company and LLP accounts
Preparing Corporation Tax computations
Preparing Sole Trader and Partnership accounts
Management accounts work including use of online accounting software
Ad hoc special assignment work
Working closely with the portfolio manager and partner
Assisting and training junior members of the team

Skills & Experience

ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
Experience of working in practice is essential
