Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly progressive and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Tunbridge Wells as they seek to grow their team with the addition of a Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior.

This well-regarded and growing firm are looking to add an ambitious and driven, qualified or part qualified, individual to their existing team where you will undertake a varied business services role and will gain exposure to a diverse array of interesting clients.

This firm have a very modern approach and they take an active interest in developing staff into well rounded business advisors, empowering them to be able to provide the best levels of client service to their ever-expanding client portfolio.

The successful individual will undertake a varied position in which the workload will include the preparation of both year-end and management accounts, corporate and personal tax compliance, and advising clients on bookkeeping queries where required.

The ideal candidate may be ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified, as well as having experience of undertaking a similar Business Services focused role within practice.

This firm are looking for an ambitious individual who has a genuine interest in developing and progressing as part of a reputable and well renowned firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounts preparation for limited companies, LLP's and sole traders.
Preparing statutory and management accounts.
Preparing and monitoring budgets.
Monthly Bookkeeping, management accounting and preparing VAT returns.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Production of profit and loss sheets.
Personal tax work to include self-assessment tax compliance.
Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns.

Skills:

ACCA or ACA Qualified / Part Qualified
Experience of undertaking a varied role within practice
