Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with well-regarded and highly progressive regional firm of Chartered Accountants who are now looking to recruit an Accounts Senior / Accounts Supervisor to join their team near Tunbridge Wells.
As an Accounts Senior your role will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies (both Audit and Audit exempt clients). The workload will involve preparation and review of both statutory and management accounts as well as corporate and personal tax compliance and VAT work.
This role offers the incumbent an excellent level of responsibility and autonomy as the successful candidate will work towards having responsibility for their own portfolio of clients as well as being involved in the supervision of junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have relevant experience of working in practice and strong knowledge of financial reporting standards. Individuals who are qualified by experience will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations and returns
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and work well within a team.
Experience of preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts in an accountancy practice using an accounting software package
Managing & supervising the work of more junior staff
Review accounts and act as point of reference to the team with regard to complex issues
Involved in some practice development work for the firm and you would be fully supported in these activities
ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist (QBE individuals will be considered)
Strong Accounts preparation experience is essential
