This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior Manager or Accounts Director to join a well-regarded accountancy firm in Fleetwood and play a key role in its continued growth.
You will take full responsibility for a substantial portfolio of large, technically complex SMEs and owner-managed businesses across a diverse range of industries. Alongside managing these important client relationships, you'll lead, develop and support a talented team across all levels.
This is a role for a senior practitioner who enjoys working closely with clients, handling complex accounting and commercial matters, developing people and taking genuine ownership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a high-value portfolio of complex SME and owner-managed clients.
Acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior management teams.
Overseeing technically challenging accounts, tax and advisory work.
Leading, mentoring and developing a talented team.
Building strong, long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities to support their wider business needs.
Contributing to the continued growth and strategic development of the practice.

This is more than a Senior Manager or Director role with responsibility for a portfolio. The firm is looking for someone with the technical expertise, commercial awareness, leadership ability and ambition to become a future Partner.

You'll be an experienced Senior Manager, Accounts Director or senior-level accountant with:
Strong technical accounting and accounts experience.
Extensive experience managing SME and owner-managed clients.
