Our client, a well-established independent firm of chartered accountants with offices across Cornwall, is seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their Launceston office. About the Role
As an Accounts Senior, you will work with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Key responsibilities include:
• Preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations from clients’ core records.
• Use of accounting software packages, including IRIS, Xero, and others.
• Production of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines.
This is a hands-on role offering the chance to develop your client portfolio and take responsibility for delivering high-quality accounting services.

Skills & Experience
• Experience in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice.
• ACA / ACCA qualified (part-qualified will also be considered).
• Proficiency with accounting software such as IRIS, Xero, or similar packages.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client assignments.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
