Accounts Senior – East Bristol

Clark Wood is working with a progressive and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in East Bristol who are seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, gain exposure to advisory work, and progress their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
As an Accounts Senior, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, predominantly large owner-managed businesses (OMBs), providing a mix of compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Delivering management accounts and financial reporting
• Providing proactive business advice and support to clients
• Assisting with tax planning and commercial projects
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff

The successful candidate will:
• Be ACA / ACCA qualified
• Have experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Be confident managing client relationships and handling a portfolio
• Demonstrate strong technical and organisational skills
• Be career-driven and keen to progress within a growing firm
