Accounts Senior - Cloud Accounting

​Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent who are recruiting for a Senior Cloud Accountant to join the firm within the online Accounting team.

The successful candidate will have good experience within accounts & bookkeeping using cloud accounting software, in particular Xero;

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily bookkeeping workflow and assist and support junior members of the team;

• Complete and review management accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies;

• Manage the completion, preparation and submission of VAT returns;

• Being the main day to day contact, to advise and support clients with general accounting and bookkeeping queries;

• Onboarding clients to cloud accounting software (mainly Xero) and providing training where necessary;

• Preparing the year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies;

• Preparing the annual Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns for clients; and

• Undertaking administrative tasks and other roles and responsibilities as required.

The successful candidate will enjoy full training for the AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification. All training costs will be covered and paid time off will be given for study and exam days

Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus 8 bank holidays and additional 3 days at Christmas;

The person spec states a salary dependant on qualification / experience and the salary would expect the range to be between £18k and £23k.
