Accounts Senior - Bridgnorth

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-respected and highly progressive independent firm of chartered accountants in Bridgnorth who are now looking to add an experienced Accounts Technician to their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a varied general practice with the workload including the preparation of year-end and management accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax computations and returns. You will also be involved in day to day bookkeeping work for clients and the preparation of VAT
returns.

The ideal candidate will have a sound foundation in general practice work to date and may be AAT Qualified or may be qualified by experience.

The successful individual will be adept in the preparation of year-end accounts and must be confident in their ability to hit the ground running.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of basic personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Undertaking some Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary

Skills:

AAT Qualified / Qualified By Experience
Practice experience is essential
