Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice) – Medical Clients - Newcastle

Clark Wood is currently working with on of the regions leading firms who specialise in working with Medical Clients. Our Newcastle based client are currently looking for an Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice) who has previous experience of working with Medical Clients or has a keen interest to do so.

As an Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice), you will be servicing a client portfolio of Medical Clients which will include the following day to day duties;

Assists in the preparation of statutory accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders to review stage.
Assists in the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
Works within budgets set at the planning stage; understands the importance of the budgets and communicates effectively to ensure these are met.
Working with other team members to ensure an efficient and pro-active service is provided to clients.
Ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients’ accounting systems
Drafting tax computations
Preparing VAT returns, while providing a hands-on compliance role.

This local Newcastle firm are perfectly commutable from all areas over Tyne and Wear; Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, South Shields etc.

ACA / ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
Previous experience of working with Medical Clients or a keen interest to do so.
