Specialist Accountancy Practice recruiters Clark Wood are working with an established and well-regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Ormskirk who are now looking to add an Accounts Senior to their team.

As a result of continued success and growth within the firm, there is an opportunity for a driven individual to undertake a varied and challenging role which will allow for genuine scope for development.

Working as an Accounts Senior, the successful individual will undertake a varied role. You will have the opportunity to gain responsibility for your own portfolio of interesting clients which will primarily consist of limited companies but will also include some private individuals and partnerships from an array of industry sectors.

The workload will be varied with this being very much a general practice role. It will include the preparation and review of both year-end accounts and tax returns, management accounts preparation and the review of VAT and bookkeeping work completed by junior staff.
