Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Hereford who are now keen to add an ambitious and driven Business Services / Accounts Senior to join their team.

As an Accounts Senior you will be responsible for preparing accounts and the associated tax computations and returns for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from an array of business sectors.

You will undertake a varied and interesting role within a progressive firm meaning there will be genuine prospects for career development as the practice continues to grow.

The ideal candidate will be based locally to Hereford and will have experience of working in a varied, general practice position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of Corporate tax computations
Management accounts preparation
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Business administration
Liaising with HMRC to resolve queries where necessary
Dealing with ad hoc client queries
Building strong client relationships

Skills:

ACA or ACCA Qualified / Part Qualified
Qualified by experience also considered
Practice experience essential
