Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team.

The Role

Working with a diverse range of clients, you will be responsible for preparing accounts and tax work while supporting clients with their wider accounting and financial requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing financial statements for a range of limited companies and unincorporated businesses
Preparing tax computations and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Providing financial information and insights to support client decision-making and financial planning
Supporting with other advisory assignments and client projects as required
Building strong client relationships across a variety of industries and providing a high-quality service

About You

Previous experience within an accountancy practice
Strong experience in accounts preparation
Good knowledge of tax compliance and relevant accounting standards
Exposure to management accounts would be advantageous
Strong communication and client relationship-building skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
