Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join an established accountancy practice in Penrith.
This role would suit an Accounts Senior, Accounts Semi Senior or Senior Accountant with previous UK accountancy practice experience.
The Role
- Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Prepare Corporation Tax computations and returns
- Complete Personal Tax returns
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Deal directly with clients and provide accounting advice
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Assist with advisory and ad hoc work
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, finalist or QBE
- Previous accountancy practice experience
- Strong accounts preparation and tax knowledge
- Good communication and client management skills
- Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
