Accounts Senior | St Asaph | £32,000 - £38,000 DOE

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm in St Asaph who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

The Role

You will undertake a varied accounts role, with responsibilities including:

Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities in accordance with FRS 102 and other relevant accounting standards
Preparing personal and corporation tax returns
Reviewing VAT returns and supporting clients with queries
Reviewing the work of junior team members and ensuring files are ready for Partner review
Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
Communicating directly with clients and responding to accounting and technical queries

About You

ACA / ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified or QBE
Strong technical accounts knowledge and up-to-date CPD
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
CCH experience advantageous, although training will be provided
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Organised, motivated and able to manage competing deadlines
