Accounts Senior
Watford | £34,000 - £40,000 | Excellent Progression

Clark Wood is working with a growing and supportive accountancy practice in Watford looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior ready to step up, or an existing Senior looking for a varied role with greater client responsibility and long-term progression.

You'll work across year-end accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and personal tax for a varied portfolio of clients.

The Role

Prepare year-end accounts
Manage bookkeeping assignments using Xero
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Assist with personal tax returns and basic computations
Liaise directly with clients
Manage your own workload and assignments
Support junior members of the team

What We're Looking For

Around 3+ years' accountancy practice experience
Strong Xero experience
Experience preparing year-end accounts
Some Personal Tax / Self-Assessment exposure
Good communication and client-facing skills
AAT/ACCA qualified or studying would be beneficial but isn't essential
