Accounts Senior | Altrincham | £DOE

Clark Wood are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice who are looking to recruit an AAT Qualified Accountant to join their growing team in Altrincham.

The Role

Reporting directly to a Client Director, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio, including:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies
Completing Self Assessment tax returns
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
Preparing bookkeeping and VAT returns
Monitoring deadlines, workflow and job progress
Tracking billing targets and ensuring work is delivered efficiently
Supporting and mentoring junior team members

About You

AAT Qualified or above (QBE candidates also consider DOE)
c.5+ years’ experience within an accountancy practice
Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance experience
Experience completing Self Assessment tax returns
Confident advising clients on a range of accounting matters
Experience with IRIS, Sage, Dext and/or Xero would be advantageous
