Accounts Senior - Carlisle

Our client, an established and growing accountancy practice is seeking experienced Accounts Assistants and Accounts Seniors to join their team in Carlisle.

Due to continued demand for their services, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative environment, working with a diverse client base. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with experience in specialist sectors such as farming or healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
Managing your own workload to meet deadlines and quality standards
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication
Supporting wider team members and contributing to overall team performance
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Assisting with general accounting and client service duties

What They’re Looking For

Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
Previous experience in an accounts role (practice experience advantageous but not essential)
ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or working towards) preferred
Experience in sectors such as farming or healthcare would be beneficial
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload independently
A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent client service
