A well-established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Bromsgrove is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior to join their growing team. The firm offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong focus on staff development and long-term progression.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting services to SMEs across a range of sectors. This is a hands-on role with excellent exposure and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Corporation tax computations and returns
• Preparation of management accounts
• VAT returns and bookkeeping where required
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
• Assisting junior staff and supporting their development (for senior candidates)

Requirements
• AAT qualified / ACA or ACCA part-qualified or qualified
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation
• Good communication skills and client-facing experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
