Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading and highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Brecon who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practice professional to join a well-established firm where you will work closely with one of the Directors, assisting with the management of their client portfolio and playing a key role in delivering a high-quality service to a varied client base.

The role will provide exposure to a broad range of owner-managed businesses across multiple sectors and offers the opportunity to further develop your technical skills within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
Assisting a Director with the management of their client portfolio
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
Supporting junior members of the team where required
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines

The Ideal Candidate

ACA / ACCA Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Strong experience in accounts preparation for a varied client base
Good communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
