Accounts Senior with ref. WL-18920

Our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join our friendly and growing team in Kidlington, supporting a varied portfolio of clients and contributing to the continued success of the firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, client-focused individual who enjoys building relationships, providing proactive advice, and working as part of a collaborative team.

You will take responsibility for managing and supporting a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality delivery across compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities include:
• Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong, trusted relationships
• Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
• Overseeing VAT returns and tax compliance
• Providing proactive financial and tax advice to clients, including support with tax planning, business planning, reporting, and business development advisory work
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment

You will ideally have:
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Good IT skills, particularly with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
• A proactive, organised, and professional approach to work
