Accounts Senior

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a highly reputable and progressive South East firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth within the business, are now seeking to add an ambitious and driven Business Services Senior / Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and well-renowned firm in a position which will offer the successful candidate a position with an excellent level of responsibility and autonomy.

The successful individual will work with a diverse portfolio of clients including both incorporated and unincorporated businesses, ensuring that all work for those clients is completed in line with all relevant deadlines and to the highest possible standards.

The workload will consist of the preparation and review of year end and management accounts along with both personal and corporate tax compliance work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Services or Accounts Senior to join a forward-thinking firm in this client facing position where your expertise will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients
Working closely alongside the business services partner offering advice into generating new ideas, clients
Preparing the accounts for companies, partnerships and sole trades.
Preparing of business tax and Corporation Tax computations and returns
Preparing Self-Assessment and Partnership Tax Returns
Reviewing accounting and tax work prepared by others
Overseeing junior staff in the preparation of accounts, providing training where required and assisting with their development.
Takes an active role in business development and promoting the firm in the local area.

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Qualified by Experience and AAT Qualified individuals would also be considered
Experience of working in practice is essential
