Clark Wood are currently working with a firm who are looking for a Accounts Senior in their Plymouth office.

As an Accounts Senior your role will include:

The role will report directly to a partner and the individual will be expected to be comfortable working through most tasks independently. Of course, help and training is always available, but we are looking for someone to hit the ground running.

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Preparation of Corporation Tax computations

Confidence using accounting systems such as Xero, Quickbooks and Sage

Liaising with clients to assist them with queries

Helping more junior members of the team

Our client in Plymouth is looking for the following skills:

The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in an accountancy practice.

Ideally, they will also have obtained, or be working towards the AAT qualification or be part way through either the ACCA or ACA.

The firm will happily support the right individual to carry out further study, if that is the desired route
