Are you an experienced practice professional looking for a well-rounded role with client responsibility and career progression? Clark Wood is working with a respected independent accountancy firm in Pershore who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Tax Senior into their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or qualified by experience) individual to take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, combining year-end accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax compliance, and day-to-day client advisory work.

The Role:

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships

• Managing personal and corporate tax compliance for a diverse client portfolio

• Handling VAT returns, management accounts, and bookkeeping support as required

• Assisting with tax planning and general business advice

• Liaising directly with clients, acting as a key point of contact for queries and support

• Supervising junior staff and reviewing work where appropriate

• Working with cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
