Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a reputable and progressive independent firm of accountants in Darlington who, due to continued success and growth, are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team where you will work on a diverse portfolio of clients.

The ideal candidate may be ACA / ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified and will have strong experience of dealing with a broad range of clients within a practice setting.

The duties within the role will be focused towards the preparation of accounts and tax compliance work for a range of clients from a variety of industry sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Senior based in the Darlington area who is looking to take the next step in their career and undertake a role which will allow for more responsibility and opportunities for further career development.

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing Limited Company and LLP accounts
Preparing Corporation Tax computations
Preparing Sole Trader and Partnership accounts
Management accounts work including use of online accounting software
Ad hoc special assignment work
Working closely with the portfolio manager and partner
Assisting and training junior members of the team

Skills & Experience

AAT Qualified or ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
Excellent experience of undertaking a varied role within practice
