Accounts Semi Senior / Senior

​Clark Wood is working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Cheltenham who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their friendly team.

This role would suit an AAT Level 4 qualified individual or someone progressing through their studies, with solid experience working within an accountancy practice. You’ll be joining a supportive team of around six in the office, offering a stable and professional environment with a good work-life balance.

The Role:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

• Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping duties

• Supporting management accounts preparation and adhoc client work

• Using cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage

• Liaising directly with clients and supporting senior staff

Requirements:

• AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent experience)

• At least 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software
