​​Accounts Semi Senior / Senior Accountant – Salisbury
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

Clark Wood is working closely with a well-established and growing firm of chartered accountants in Salisbury to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced accounts professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive accountancy practice. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the firm's continued growth and mentoring junior team members.
The firm is based just outside Salisbury and offers free on-site parking, a collaborative working environment, and a broad portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and SMEs across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns

Managing and supporting a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients

Assisting with client queries and delivering high-quality service

Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and offering training where required

Engaging with clients directly and developing long-term professional relationships

This position offers a clear route to progression into a fully-fledged Senior role with increased client responsibility and supervisory duties.

Candidate requirements:

At least 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice

AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified / finalist

Strong knowledge of cloud accounting platforms, including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Based in or around Salisbury or willing to commute
