Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Carlisle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified, ACA / ACCA part-qualified or experienced Accounts Assistant looking to progress their career within a supportive accountancy practice.
Working with a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, you will gain exposure across accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts.
The Role

Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients.
Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping.
Supporting management accounts and ad hoc assignments.
Using accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
Liaising with clients and supporting senior members of the team.

About You

AAT qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA.
Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
Strong accounts preparation and bookkeeping skills.
Good communication and organisational abilities.
Experience with cloud accounting software.
