Accounts Semi Senior – Carlisle, Cumbria
Salary: £24,000 – £32,000 (DOE)

Clark Wood is working with a well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Carlisle, who are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified individual with practice experience to further their career in a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assist with VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks
Support the preparation of management accounts and ad hoc client work
Use cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
Liaise directly with clients and provide support to senior staff

Requirements
AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proficiency with cloud accounting software
