​Accounts Semi Senior – Carlisle, Cumbria

Salary: £24,000 – £32,000 (DOE)

Clark Wood is working with a respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Carlisle who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part-qualified individual with experience in practice who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.

The Role:

•Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

•Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping duties

•Supporting management accounts preparation and ad hoc client work

•Using cloud software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage

•Liaising directly with clients and supporting senior staff

Requirements:

•AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified

•At least 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice

•Strong communication and organisational skills

•Proficiency in cloud accounting software
