Clark Wood, specialists in accountancy practice recruitment, are partnering with an established and forward-thinking independent firm of accountants in Newton Abbot. They are looking to add an experienced Accounts Semi Senior / Accounts Assistant to their growing team.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for completing accounts preparation, bookkeeping tasks, preparing VAT returns, and assisting with the preparation of management accounts.

Key Duties.

Accounts preparation

Perform bookkeeping duties

Prepare VAT returns

Assist in the preparation of management accounts

Ideal Candidate:

Familiarity with accounting software packages like Sage and Xero

AAT qualification or working towards it, although candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
