About Us:

Our client, a well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Bridgwater, is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi Senior / Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

​

Role Overview:

This role involves the preparation of accounts for small and medium-sized companies as well as charities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in accountancy practice, be familiar with FRS102 & FRS105 accounting standards, and be AAT qualified.

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts for small and medium-sized companies and charities.

• Ensure compliance with FRS102 & FRS105 accounting standards.

• Manage workflow effectively to meet deadlines.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.

​

Qualifications and Skills:

• AAT qualified.

• Substantial experience in an accountancy practice.

• Strong knowledge of FRS102 & FRS105.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage workflow independently.

• ​

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with IRIS Accountancy Software, Sage, QuickBooks, and other accounting packages is advantageous.

• Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
