Accounts Semi Senior – Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
£28,000 - £35,000 + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a well-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent.
This role would suit an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or AAT Qualified Accountant with previous accountancy practice experience.
The Role

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Assisting with Corporation Tax computations and returns
Preparing VAT returns and bookkeeping
Supporting with management accounts
Liaising directly with clients and handling queries
Working closely with Managers and Partners
Supporting junior team members where required

The Person

AAT qualified, studying ACA / ACCA or QBE
At least 2 years' accountancy practice experience
Experience preparing accounts for a varied client portfolio
Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
Good communication skills
Keen to develop a career within practice
