Are you an ambitious Accounts Junior/Semi Senior with 2+ years’ experience based in South Devon?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Independent firm of Accountants based in Axminster who are looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team.

This firm of Accountants has a wide range of clients for which the team prepares accounts and tax returns as well as providing tax and business advice, making the work very varied and interesting.

Supporting the Seniors, Managers and Senior Managers, as an Accounts Semi Senior you will be responsible for the following;

Accounts preparation
Bookkeeping
Corporation tax / Business tax
Processing client payroll
Telephone and/or email contact with clients and requests for information
Providing training and support to trainee

Our client based in Axminster is looking for the following knowledge and qualifications:

Previous experience in a practice environment.
General accounting experience including accounts preparation is essential.
Confident IT user and previous experience of using Microsoft Excel
AAT Level 4 qualification is desirable but not essential.
