Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading independent firm of accountants in Northampton who are looking to add an experienced Accounts Semi Senior to their growing team.

The Accounts Semi Senior role is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced but looking to progress further within their career and become an integral part of the growth of a fast-paced accountancy practice as well as being a fundamental part of the development of a team.

Based around 2 Miles outside of Northampton, with full parking available, this firm can boast a high calibre of experienced staff members and fantastic clients across the area.

The role will be varied and the successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role where you will support one of the firms Client Managers. You will be responsible for preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax compliance. You will also be involved in the completion of bookkeeping work for clients as well as the preparation of VAT returns.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years practice experience and be AAT Qualified or ACCA Qualified or part way through their exams with a sound knowledge of cloud based software including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks.
