Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly progressive regional firm of accountants in Kendal who are now looking to add an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to their team.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role and will be responsible for preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated corporate and personal tax computations and returns. You will also be involved in the completion of bookkeeping work for clients as well as the preparation of VAT returns.
The ideal candidate will have had a grounding in general practice work and may be AAT part or fully qualified or may have already begun studying towards the ACCA / ACA.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary
AAT Part Qualified / Qualified or ACA / ACCA Student
Practice experience is essential
