Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly progressive and forward-thinking firm of accountants in North Wales who are now looking to add an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior to their growing team in Bangor

As an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Semi Senior your role will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. The workload will include the preparation of both statutory and management accounts as well as personal and corporate tax compliance, bookkeeping and VAT work. You will liaise with clients directly as well as being responsible for communicating with HMRC.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies or you may have already commenced your ACCA / ACA studies. Prior experience of working within practice is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Online

Preparation of Accounts and Tax Computations

Preparation of VAT Returns

Preparation of Management Accounts

Liaising with clients

Skills:

AAT Qualified or Part Qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered)

Experience of undertaking a varied practice role

Up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards
