Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well renowned and progressive independent firm in Peterborough who are now looking to add an ambitious Business Services Semi Senior to their team.

The successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role and will be responsible for preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax computations and returns.

The ideal candidate will have had a grounding in general practice work to date and may be AAT part or fully qualified or may have already begun studying towards the ACCA / ACA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of basic personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Undertaking some Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary

Skills:

AAT Part Qualified / Qualified (ACA / ACCA Students will also be considered)
Practice experience is essential
