Clark Wood is currently working a leading Cheshire based firm who are looking for an Accounts Manager (Senior Accountant) in their Chester office.

As an Accounts Manager (Senior Accountant), your role will include:

Preparation and review of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities

Completing monthly bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns.

Use of computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks

Preparation of income tax and corporation tax computations and returns.

Assistance with the preparation and filing of Construction Industry Scheme returns.

Assisting trainee accountants within the team.

Our client in Chester is looking for the following skills to be successful in the position;

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years – 5 years’ experience working with small businesses in an accounting practice
