Accounts Manager, Droitwich - Worcestershire

Our client is a growing accountancy practice based in Droitwich, Worcestershire, looking to appoint an experienced Client Manager to manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the delivery of accounts and tax services.

This is a traditional practice-based role, ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, reviewing accounts and tax work, and supporting junior members of the team.
The Role

Manage a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Act as the main point of contact for clients
Prepare and review statutory accounts
Prepare and review corporation tax and personal tax returns
Review work completed by junior staff and trainees
Manage client deadlines and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently
Deal with client queries and provide general accounting and tax support
Assist with management accounts and other ad-hoc client work where required
Support and mentor AAT trainees and junior members of the team
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Work closely with the wider team to ensure a high level of client service

About Yo

ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)
Strong experience working within an accountancy practice
Good knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
Confident reviewing accounts and tax work
Experience managing a portfolio of clients
