Accounts Manager – Edinburgh

Clark Wood are working with a leading accountancy practice in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with strong general practice experience who is looking to manage their own portfolio, develop a team and become more involved in business development.

The Role

Managing a varied portfolio of OMBs, corporate clients and partnerships
Planning, controlling and reviewing accounts work
Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
Day-to-day management and development of junior staff
Reviewing work and providing feedback and technical support
Building strong relationships with clients and providing commercial advice
Identifying opportunities to provide additional services
Supporting business development through networking and client referrals

The Candidate
ACA / ACCA qualified
Ideally 3+ years' post-qualified experience
Strong external accounts and general practice experience
Experience working with OMBs, corporates and partnerships
Confident managing and developing junior staff
Strong client-facing and commercial skills
Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and CaseWare would be beneficial
