Accounts Manager - Leicester

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Manager to join an established accountancy practice based in Leicester.

This is a key role within the office, offering the chance to manage a strong portfolio of clients, lead and develop the accounts team and play an important part in the continued growth and development of the practice.

The Role
-Manage a portfolio of established limited company clients.
-Provide accounts, tax and business advice.
-Oversee statutory and management accounts, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT.
-Manage client assignments from planning through to completion.
-Build strong client relationships and identify advisory opportunities.
-Review work and support more complex technical matters.
-Lead, train and develop junior members of the team.
-Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance work is delivered accurately and on time.

About You
-ACA/ACCA qualified with general practice experience.
-Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
-Good understanding of personal tax.
-Strong knowledge of FRS 102.
-Previous leadership and staff management experience.
-Excellent organisational and client management skills.
-Confident working independently in an office-based environment.
