Accounts Manager | Manchester | £40,000 - £48,000 DOE

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm who are looking to recruit a Accounts Manager to join their growing team in Manchester.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients from start to finish, with responsibilities including:

Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 105
Preparing Corporation Tax returns
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Holding client meetings and providing accounting and business advice
Managing a portfolio of clients end-to-end
Dealing with client queries and providing a high level of service
Personal Tax experience would be desirable but is not essential

About You

Previous experience within an accountancy practice
Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients end-to-end
Strong accounts preparation and client relationship management experience
Good knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105
Confident holding client meetings and communicating directly with clients
Experience preparing Corporation Tax returns
Personal Tax experience desirable but not essential
ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or QBE
