Accounts Manager | Ipswich | £DOE

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team in Ipswich.

The Role

You will manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients, with responsibilities including:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
Delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services
Overseeing workflow and ensuring assignments and deadlines are managed effectively
Reviewing work and maintaining high standards of quality
Working closely with Directors and Partners on technical matters
Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members
Contributing to revenue and profitability targets
Supporting wider business development and client relationship activities

About You

ACA / ACCA / CA Qualified or equivalent & strong previous senior-level experience within an accountancy practice
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Experience working with a diverse range of SME and owner-managed businesses
Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Able to work autonomously and take ownership of client work
Commercially aware with a proactive, client-focused approach
