Accounts Manager – Hereford

Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hereford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or experienced Accounts Senior looking to take the next step into a management role. You will manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and agricultural clients, while working closely with Partners and supporting junior team members.
The Role

Managing a diverse client portfolio across accounts and tax.
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax compliance work.
Acting as a key point of contact for clients.
Reviewing and supporting junior staff development.
Assisting Partners with general practice and advisory work.

About You

ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
Strong background in UK accountancy practice.
Experience managing clients across accounts and tax.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experienced Accounts Seniors looking for progression are encouraged to apply.
