Clark Wood are delighted to be working with an independent firm in Walsall who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager / Office Manager to play a pivotal role helping drive the business forward.

This represents a key appointment for the firm and will offer the opportunity to step into the most senior role within the company and work closely with the Director.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the day-to-day management of a busy accountancy practice, the ability to lead a small team of six staff, and a strong working knowledge of current HMRC and government legislation.

The successful candidate must be fully qualified to ACCA, FCCA or ICAEW level and have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in practice.

The successful candidate will assume some of the director’s responsibilities, including reviewing and finalising a variety of accounts—limited companies, sole traders, personal tax, charities, clubs, and schools. Please note that we do not carry out audit work at our branch.

Their services also include Capital Gains Tax reporting, company incorporations, filing of confirmation statements & other Company Secretarial work, P11D’s, VAT, payroll, Auto Enrolment,and CIS & tax planning —so experience & knowledge in these areas is essential.
