Clark Wood, recruitment specialists in accountancy practice, are excited to announce an opportunity for an Accounts Manager at a reputable independent firm of accountants in Oswestry.

As an Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the firm’s success by managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various sectors. You will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring the accurate and efficient completion of all client work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients from multiple industry sectors.
Support partners and clients with bespoke queries and ad hoc project work.
Prepare and review statutory and management accounts.
Prepare and review tax computations and returns.
Act as the main point of contact for an array of clients.
Efficiently manage your own billing and workload, as well as that of junior staff.
Review and guide the work of junior team members, providing necessary support.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience.
Experience: Strong, varied general practice experience is essential, along with proven client management skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to build and maintain successful client relationships.
