Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-renowned and highly progressive firm of chartered accountants in Sevenoaks who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join their team.

As an Accounts Manager / Client Manager, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients which will include a mix of small-medium limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a wide array of business sectors. You will act as the primary point of contact for your clients and will have responsibility for ensuring that all associated work for them is completed accurately and efficiently. You will have a mixed role which will see you reviewing the work of junior staff whilst also preparing more accounts for more complex clients first-hand.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified and will have experience of working within practice. You will have experience of preparing and reviewing accounts under FRS 102 as well as small entities. You will show capacity to learn/understand technical aspects under FRS 102 such as the accounting treatment for options and convertible loan notes.

Excellent communication skills are imperative for this role as it is key that you can build and maintain a successful working relationship with multiple clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients from a range of industry sectors
Review of Statutory Accounts and Management Accounts
Review of tax computations and returns
Supporting the partners and clients with any bespoke queries and ad hoc project work as required
Acting as primary point of contact for an array of clients
Take responsibility for your own billing, and managing your own workload and that of the team in a timely and efficient manner, while all the time ensuring we exceed client expectations
 
Skills:
 
ACCA / ACA Qualified
Practice experience essential
Client management experience
Experience of reviewing work prepared by junior members of staff
