Accounts Manager

Clark Wood is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating throughout the United Kingdom within the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors. Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

Our client is a top regional accountancy and professional advisory firm which serves a varied client base that extends across the South East of the UK.

The firm specialises in Audit, Tax and Advisory Services, they are looking to recruit an experienced candidate into a portfolio manager role. This will be a good mixture of advisory and compliance based work with a focus on working very closely with clients advising them at all levels on the running of their business.

You will need at least three years’ experience working at this level and be able to provide a pro-active service to our clients.  An individual with a strong general practice background able to communicate well with all client types is essential.  A very good technical ability and understanding of all taxes is necessary to properly fulfil this role.  

Working directly under one of the directors this opportunity is being recruited for with succession planning in mind.
