​Accounts Assistant Manager – Chichester

Our client is a regional firm of Chartered Accountants, whose Chichester office are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join the firm.

The role would be to look after a portfolio of a diverse range of clients, ranging from sole traders to multi-million-pound businesses.

The firm are looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience candidate with a good Practice background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Plan and prioritise client Accounts work and ensure establishment of scope and budget for each piece of client Accounts work under own control and ensure adequate briefing to team members where relevant.

·       Preparation and delegation of key client Accounts work.

·       Supervise the progress of work and maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on the advancement of tasks.

·       Work directly with clients to develop those relationships and expand advisory services delivered.

·       Ensure timely preparation of bills for own client Accounts work and ensure they are promptly sent to the client.

The successful individual will have good accounts & tax experience gained within a firm of Accountants and will hold either the ACA or ACCA Qualification or be QBE.
